New Delhi, 31 July: The contract market of cumin dropped down by Rs.20/25 per kilogram during the last week. On the other hand, here also, its prices slipped by Rs.10/15 per kg because of sluggish demand from the all-round exporters and stockists along with the profit taking selling in the producing markets. At upper level, cumin prices were ruling at Rs.730 per kilogram in Delhi Mandi. Whereas, some famous brands are quoting at at Rs.7 40 per kilogram, but the traders should have to take profit while selling the stock in these prices. Now, the traders wants to sell the stock at Rs.800 per kilogram But, no one is able to sell the stock in these prices. The per hectare productivity of cumin reported to be weak in kutchch and Banaskantha line because of the unfavourable weather conditions.
