New Delhi, 02 August (NNS): Here, cumin prices remained firm at Rs 67000 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the weak prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There are about 1000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 2050 or 3.43 percent to Rs 61740 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
