Red chilli: possibility to remain strong

New Delhi, 17 August (NNS): Here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. remained stable at Rs 26500 per quintal owing to the sluggish offtake at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There are about 40000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect because of the expectations for the crop of Madhya Pradesh. The spot red chilli prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days during the coming days.
