New Delhi, 18 August (NNS): Here, cumin prices jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 66000 per quintal owing to the increased offtake at the weak prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 1000 per quintal. There are about 2500/3000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1125 or 1.92 percent to Rs 59250 per quintal, due to this reason, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days.
