New Delhi, 18 August (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 15800 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the weak prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. There are about 9200 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices declined by Rs 200/300 per quintal. The active contract went up by Rs 126 or 0.86 percent to Rs 14800 per quintal because of the increased buying from the speculators. The spot turmeric prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
