New Delhi, 21 August (NNS): Here, cumin prices remained stable at Rs 66000 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists. During the review week, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There are about 1500/2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract fell down by Rs 940 or 1.57 percent to Rs 58750 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying, due to this reason, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain in the limited area during the coming days.
