New Delhi, 21 August (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis dropped down to Rs 15400 per quintal due to the profit taking selling from the stockists. There are about 2700 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level during the previous days. The active contract slipped by Rs 260 or 1.59 percent to Rs 16110 per quintal because of the speculative selling. The spot turmeric prices may not likely to increase during the coming days.
