New Delhi, 22 August (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 65000 per quintal due to the weak sale even after the lower level. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There are about 2000/2500 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went down by Rs 50/100 per 20 kg. The active contract declined by Rs 900 or 1.52 percent to Rs 58320 per quintal because of the increased speculative selling, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
