New Delhi, 23 August (NNS): Here, cumin prices dropped down to Rs 64000 per quintal because of the weak sale even after the feeble buying. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same proportion. The arrivals rose to 3500/4000 bags of cumin which reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs.250/450 per 20 kg. The active contract declined by Rs 10/15 or 1.75 percent to Rs 56,900 per quintal because of the selling pressure from the speculators. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
