New Delhi, 24 August (NNS): The new crop of cloves has been started arriving in Indonesia and Madagascar, but the crop reported to be weak this year, due to which, the market may likely to remain high during the coming days. There is a lack of old stock in the markets and the market may show uptrend after the increment in the demand on seeing the higher level in the international markets. This year, the arrivals seems sluggish from the Colombo because the stock has been selling out in Myanmar along with the bordering areas from there, due to this reason, the market of Madagascar held strong at Rs 970/980 per kg. Apart from this, best quality stock also ruling at Rs 1020/1030 per quintal.
