New Delhi, 05 September (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode asitis gatha slipped by Rs.700 to Rs.14,500 per quintal because of the sluggish Buying even after the weak prices. Before this, the prices have declined by Rs.500 per quintal. There are about 2700 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in. Erode and the prices fell down by Rs.200 per quintal. The active contract softened by Rs 2 or 0.01 percent to Rs 15112 per quintal due to the sluggish speculative buying. There is a possibility of break on downtrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
