New Delhi, 14 September (NNS): The prices of dry ginger showed heavy uptrend in the Sagar and the Kochin line due to the shortage of the stock during the previous days, but the new stock will likely to arrive after some time. The crop of dry ginger seems good and the inferior quality dry ginger also being sold at Rs 325 per kg and the stored stock has also been selling out constantly in the markets and the demand seems weak. On seeing these circumstances, there is no possibility of uptrend in the prices during the near future, but the prices may not showed heavy downtrend from here during the coming days.
