New Delhi, 15 September (NNS): Here, cumin prices dropped down by Rs 1000 to Rs 63700 per quintal owing to the increased all-round buying even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up during the previous day. Around 5000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices reduced by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The government will organise a meeting to control the inflation in the prices of major spices soon. The active contract declined by Rs 1570 or 2.50 percent to Rs 6115000 per quintal owing to the heavy speculative buying. The uptrend and downtrend in the prices of cumin depends on the government proceedings.
