New Delhi, 18 September (NNS): During the previous week, here, cumin prices fell down by Rs.1000 to Rs.62,500 per quintal because of the lack of buying from the stockist even after the sluggish prices. There was no auction of cumin in Unjha due to the heavy rainfall. The rainfall reported to be quiet in the eastern parts of Gujarat along with other states during the last two days. The active contract fell down by Rs.1895 or 3.08 percent or Rs.59,630 per quintal, owing to the all-round speculative buying. The market sentiment may change because of sluggish temperature. There is no possibility of downtrend in the prices during the coming one or two days.
