New Delhi, 21 September (NNS): Here, cumin prices went up by Rs 500 to Rs 63000 per quintal owing to the strong sale even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There are about 3000/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha mandi and the prices rose by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract improved by Rs 25 or 0.04 percent to Rs 60205 per kg owing to the limited buying from the speculators. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
