New Delhi, 25 September (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode asitis gatha fell down by Rs 800 to Rs 14300 per quintal due to the weak buying even after the sluggish prices. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There are about 1900 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level. The active contract went down by Rs 128 or 0.89 percent to Rs 14250 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
