New Delhi, 10 October (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin gained by Rs.200 to Rs.63,200 per quintal due to the improved offtake even after the sluggish prices. During the previous day, the prices have slipped by Rs.1000 per quintal. In Unjha, there are about 3000/3500 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract slipped by 2.11 percent to Rs 1225 per kg because of the selling pressure from the speculators, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of nominal downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
