New Delhi, 11 October (NNS): Here, cumin prices descended by Rs 700 to Rs 62500 per quintal owing to the feeble offtake even after the sluggish prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. Around 2500/3000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract went down by Rs 2035 or 3.66 percent to Rs 53550 per quintal owing to the increased selling pressure from the speculators, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
