New Delhi, 12 October (NNS): Here, cumin prices jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 63500 per quintal owing to the increased offtake even after the feeble prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 700 per quintal. There are about 3000/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 150 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 145 or 2.70 percent to Rs 54300 per kg because of the heavy speculative buying. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days.
