During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 1000 per quintal. There are about 3500/4000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1345 or 2.51 percent to Rs 54950 per quintal owing to the heavy speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days.
