New Delhi, 06 October (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 13600 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were about 4600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract jumped by Rs 108 or 0.83 percent to Rs 13062 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices may likely to remain strong during the coming days.
