New Delhi, 23 October: The arrivals of black pepper reported to be weak in the markets of Southern parts of the country, due to which, its prices have been ruling at higher level in North India. Apart from this, the export of the black pepper also seems weak from there and the prices of Indian black pepper also ruling at lower level. In this situation, the export may increase during the coming days. As a result, the prices of the stock from Kochin have been ruling at higher level in all the markets of north India. Here, the demand showed uptrend at the lower level. On the other hand, the prices are being quoted at the strong level in Kochin. Today, here, the inferior quality black pepper of Kochin is being traded at Rs 660 per kilogram. Similarly, its best quality stock has not been available less than to Rs 690 per kilogram, whereas, the prices of its stock have been ruling at the lower level by Rs 10 per kilogram.
