New Delhi, 25 October (NNS): The prices of cumin went down by Rs.3000 to Rs 57000 per quintal because of the increased selling pressure from the stockists and sluggish news from Unjha. There are around 3500/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in unjha and its prices slipped by Rs.200/300 per 20 kg because of the sluggish buying. The active contract cell down by Rs.1345 or 2.64 percent to Rs.49650 per quintal, owing to the selling pressure from the speculators. The market sentiments may affect because of the starting of the nominal sowing in Sourashtra. There is no possibility of uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
