New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): The trade of cumin reported to be weak during the second day also. There, around 4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices slipped by Rs 100 per 20 kg. Here also, its prices dropped down by Rs 1500/2000 to Rs 55000 per quintal because of the heavy selling pressure from the stockists. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 3000 per quintal. The active contract went down by Rs 2990 or 6 percent to Rs 46900 per quintal due to the all-round speculative selling from the speculators. The nominal sowing has been started in Gujarat , due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
