New Delhi, 27 October (NNS): Here, cumin prices held stable at Rs 55000 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying even after the weak prices. Before this, the prices have declined by Rs 1500/2000 per quintal. Around 4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 200/300 per 20 kg. On the other hand, the active contract ascended by Rs 825 or 1.76 percent to Rs 47740 per quintal owing to the strong speculative selling. There is a possibility of temporary uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
