New Delhi, 27 October (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis rose by Rs 200 to Rs 13300 per quintal due to the increased buying after the recent downtrend. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. The trading activities reported to be close till 30 October in Erode due to the local festival season. On the other hand, the active contract jumped by Rs 628 or 4.80 percent to Rs 13720 per quintal because of the all-round speculative selling, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
