New Delhi, 06 November (NNS): During the previous week, cumin prices dropped down by Rs 3500 to Rs 49000 per quintal due to the increased selling pressure of the stockists at the sluggish prices. However, its prices rose by Rs 200/500 per quintal during the last week. Around 3000/4000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1665 or 4 percent to Rs 41745 per quintal owing to the all-round speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may show nominal uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
