
New Delhi, 07 November (NNS): The prices of cumin went up by Rs 500 to Rs 49500 per quintal owing to the strong buying from the stockists after the bullish news from Unjha. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 1000 per quintal. There are around 2000/2500 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract ascended by Rs 2440 or 5.74 percent to Rs 44980 per quintal due to the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
