New Delhi, 16 November (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom showed heavy uptrend in the auction which held on today after the Diwali Vacations. The arrivals of Iddukki District Traditional Cardamom Producer Company Limited rose to Rs 61006 kg. Its average auction price went down to Rs 1476.70 per kg because of the sluggish buying and higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 1572.44 per kg in the last auction which held on 9 November. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5 mm gained by Rs 100 to Rs 1750 per kg because of the increased buying from the stockists. There is no possibility of decrement in the prices of spot small cardamom during the coming days.
