New Delhi, 22 November (NNS): There are around 2600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode mandi and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. Here, the prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 13400 per quintal because of the limited support of buying from the stockists. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same proportion. The active contract declined by Rs 188 or 1.52 percent to Rs 12150 per quintal owing to the lack of buying from the speculators. Due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is a possibility of break on uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the near future.
