New Delhi, 27 November (NNS): The prices of cumin fell down by Rs 1000 to Rs 45500 per quintal owing to the increased selling from the stockists after the heavy uptrend in the prices. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. Today, the markets reported to be close in Unjha on seeing the lack of workers due to the state assemble elections. Before this, around 3000/3500 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices declined by Rs 100 per 20 kg. There as weekly holiday in contract market, but during the previous day, the active contract rose by Rs 100 or 0.22 percent to Rs 45100 per quintal because of the limited buying. There is possibility of break on decrement in the prices during the coming days.
