New Delhi, 04 December (NNS):The arrival pressure of turmeric seems constant during the previous week because of the sluggish sale as comparatively . As a result, here, turmeric Erode gatha asitis reduced by Rs 100 to Rs 13300 per quintal. Before this, the prices have declined by Rs 200 per quintal. Around 1500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day because there is no such effect of Chakrawat storm in Erode. The active contract fell down by Rs 80 or 0.64 percent to Rs 12510 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain in the limited area during the coming one or two days.
