New Delhi, 05 December (NNS): The sowing of cumin reported to be jumped by 161 percent in Gujarat, due to this, the stock have been selling huge amount of stock, in these circumstances, its prices fell down by Rs 1000 to Rs 44,500 per quintal. There were about 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract dropped down by Rs 2485 or 5.99 percent to Rs 38,990 per quintal because of all round speculative selling. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
