New Delhi, 08 December (NNS): The stockists have been selling their stock constantly owing to the increment in the sowing of cumin. Here, its prices rose by Rs 300 to Rs 43500 per quintal owing to the increased buying. During the precious day, the prices have gone down by Rs 800 per quintal. There were about 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices fell down by Rs 400/500 per 20 kg. The active contract declined by Rs 175 or 0.47 percent to Rs 36825 per quintal because of the sluggish speculative buying. There is a possibility of temporary uptrend in the prices of cumin during the coming one or two days.
