New Delhi, 13 December (NNS): Cumin prices jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 44000 per quintal owing to the increased all-round buying from the stockists. During the precious day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were about 2000/2500 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went up by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1645 or 4.52 percent to Rs 38065 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. The sowing of cumin reported to be increase by double in Gujarat, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is a possibility of more fluctuations in the prices during the coming one or two days.
