New Delhi, 18 December (NNS): During the previous week, the prices of cumin dropped down by Rs 1000 to Rs 44000 per quintal due to the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the weak prices. During the last day, the prices remained stable at the same level. There were about 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held firm at the same level of the previous day. The active contract descended by Rs 1590 or 3.99 percent to Rs 38235 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. There is no possibility of nominal uptrend and downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
