New Delhi, 18 December (NNS): Here, turmeric Erode gatha asitis fell down from Rs 13900 to Rs 13700 per quintal. However, its prices reduced by Rs 300 per quintal before a week. Around 1600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract dropped down by Rs 518 or 3.99 percent to Rs 12454 per quintal because of the all-round speculative selling. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain in the limited area during the near future.
