New Delhi, 19 December (NNS): Here, cumin prices dropped down by Rs 1000 to Rs 43000 per quintal. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 1000 per quintal. There were about 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 300/350 per 20 kg. The active contract dropped down by Rs 1745 or 4.54 percent to Rs 36700 per quintal because of all round speculative selling. The market sentiments may affect because of the bumper sowing of the new crop. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
