New Delhi, 20 December (NNS): Cumin prices jumped by Rs 500 to Rs 43500 per quintal owing to the increased buying from the stockists at the lower level. During the precious day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were about 1500/2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices remained stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract ascended by Rs 1095 or 2.98 percent to Rs 37900 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain improve during the coming days.
