New Delhi, 22 December (NNS): Cumin prices held stable at Rs 44000 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists after the higher prices. During the precious day, the prices have gone by Rs 500 per quintal. There were about 1500/2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went up by Rs 50/100 per 20 kg. The active contract went down by Rs 150 or 0.40 percent to Rs 37750 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
