New Delhi, 25 December (NNS): Here, black pepper markara prices improved by Rs 5 to Rs 650 per kg owing to the limited buying from the stockists. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 10 per kg. There was holiday in Kochi, but before this, the arrivals reported to be negligible and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The new crop will likely to arrive during the end of the current month or first week of the next month, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot black pepper prices during the coming days.
