New Delhi, 26 December (NNS): There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices reduced by Rs 100 per 20 kg. Here, cumin prices remained stable at Rs 43500 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying even after the weak prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. The active contract dropped down by Rs 2285 or 5.99 percent to Rs 35855 per quintal because of the all-round speculative selling. The market sentiments may affect owing to the record sowing of the new crop. There is no possibility of downtrend in the prices during the coming days.
