New Delhi, 27 December (NNS): Around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices dropped down by Rs 400 per kg. Here, its prices slipped by Rs 2000 to Rs 41500 per quintal because of the all-round selling at the lower level. The active contract went down by Rs 2150 or 5.99 percent to Rs 33715 per quintal because of the weak speculative selling. The market sentiments may affect because of the record sowing of new crop. The spot cumin prices will not likely to increase during the coming days.
