New Delhi, 28 December (NNS): The sale of small cardamom showed strong trend even after the higher prices. As a result, here, its prices gained by Rs 25 to Rs 1950 per kg. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 50 per quintal. Today, its arrivals rose to 100000 kg in the Mass Enterprises, Vandanmettu auction. Apart from this, the arrivals of small cardamom went up to 818000 kg in the same auction. Its average auction price jumped by Rs 1858.43 per kg owing to the strong buying after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, its prices were at Rs 1702.66 in the last auction which held on 20 December, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the prices during the near future.
