New Delhi, 29 December (NNS): Around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices dropped down by Rs 200 per kg. Here, its prices went down by Rs 500 to Rs 40500 per quintal because of the weak buying even after the sluggish prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. The active contract went down by Rs 895 or 2.82 percent to Rs 30800 per quintal because of the all-round speculative selling. The market sentiments may affect because of the record sowing of new crop. The spot cumin prices will not likely to decrease during the coming days.
