New Delhi, 03 January (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin went down by Rs 1000 to Rs 35000 per quintal because of the increased selling pressure from the stockists. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 2800 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1770 or 5.99 percent to Rs 31300 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is a possibility of temporary downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
