New Delhi, 03 January (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis reduced by Rs 100 to Rs 13200 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the decrement during the previous days. During the previous day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 1400 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract went down by Rs 404 or 2.86 percent to Rs 13710 per quintal owing to the increased selling pressure from the speculators. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
