New Delhi, 05 January (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis held stable at Rs 13200 per quintal owing to the feeble sale even after the decrement during the previous days. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 7200 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices declined by Rs 100/200 per quintal. The active contract went down by Rs 366 or 2.65 percent to Rs 13450 per quintal owing to the increased selling pressure. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
