New Delhi, 09 January (NNS): The offtake of cumin reported to be weak as comparatively after the decrement of Rs 2000 per quintal during the previous day. As a result, here, cumin prices slipped by Rs 500 to Rs 31500 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices dropped down by Rs 100 per 20 kg during the previous day. The active contract reduced by Rs 425 or 1.35 percent to Rs 31005 per quintal due to the weak buying from the speculators. There is no possibility of increment in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
