New Delhi, 10 January (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis eased by Rs 10 to Rs 12300 per quintal owing to the weak buying even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio including this. There were around 4700 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices declined by Rs 100/200 per quintal. The active contract went down by Rs 72 or 0.54 percent to Rs 13270 per quintal owing to the feeble speculative selling. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
